Fitness Fellowship: Week Five

So, fellow fitness fans, how has the week been for you? Feel free to share your ups and downs, plans, etc., with us here.

If you haven't joined in but would like to, please feel free. There are no real rules except respecting each other. :-)

Food-wise, I was pretty good this week.

I got three days of good exercise. I was aiming for four, and I might have made it if yesterday hadn't been my mother's birthday, which fell in the middle of the day and so gutted it of all other plans.

Sleep was okay. I had some weird sleep issues this week, including loud weather (the wind tends to really rip and roar around here) and upper back muscle spasms (a first--and I hope a last--for me), but mostly I was bad about putting the book down and turning the lights out, so that's on me.

Meditation. *sighs* Okay, I WILL do it. I just have to make it a thing that I do. I do pray daily, which is meditative in a way, but I really want to get back into the habit of deeper meditative practice like I once did. I just have to make it a priority, and I apparently suck at that. One does start to wonder if I've got an avoidance issue. Hmmm. I did do a mediumship tarot reading last weekend, which was pretty intense, and that certainly causes me to use a different part of my brain, but it's not quite the same as meditation.

Still, it wasn't a bad week, and I was pretty pleased about the exercise. More of that to come, I hope.

So, for the week ahead: Stay on plan, food-wise. Exercise at least four days a week (and we moved the treadmill over to this house yesterday, so my exercise room is actually full of equipment now, yay!). Put the book down earlier and go to sleep. Meditate at least once.

May the week ahead bring you closer to your goals!

Peace,
SW
