Fitness Fellowship: Week Four
Hello, fellow fitness-seekers:
That's a wrap on the month of January, four weeks of fitness, in theory or in fact. I hope it's been a good journey for you so far.
As usual, please share how the past week went for you and what you've got planned for the week ahead.
Food-wise, I did pretty well, and we finally had both the time and money to go grocery shopping and mean it, so I am restocked with fresh and frozen veggies, fresh fruit, and more beans than it's probably safe for me to eat if I want to prevent increasing my carbon footprint. ;-)
Sleep-wise, I've been doing alright too.
I also exercised for four days this past week. My goal was for five, but I've found that I can't quite manage that for one reason or another, so I'm allowing myself to adjust the goal downward a bit for the week to come. Four days is manageable and works for me; why make myself miserable?
Meditation. *sighs* You know, I did try last night because I was having trouble falling asleep (I cannot wait to be done with peri-menopause. The hormone-related insomnia sucks so hard), but I couldn't seem to manage beyond some breathing exercises. Better than nothing, but not up to my usual standard from bygone days.
For the week ahead, I'm going to keep to the eating plan, exercise at least four days (for at least twenty minutes), continue with the good sleep habits, and MEDITATE at least ONCE. *pinky-swears*
Have a fantastic February debut, my friends!
