Fitness Fellowship 2026: Check-in 13
Mar. 30th, 2026 04:15 pmWe've made it to the end of March, which is an accomplishment worthy of celebration, and I hope you'll find some little gift to give yourself in honor of that achievement.
If you're so inclined, please share how the past week's fitness efforts have gone for you. If you have triumphs or struggles, let us know. We're here to listen and share, not to judge.
Weight: 192.6, up .2 from last week's weight. No complaints here, though I would like to leave this plateau, please.
Exercise: Yoga 4/4, strength-training 3/3, significant steps every day. On Saturday, we attended a local No Kings protest and got 2.79 very cold miles in there, and yesterday (50+ degrees F), I put on the muck boots for a stroll around the yard and then changed into sneakers for another 2+ miles near the park.
Eating plan: I've been pretty good (?). I mean, I feel like I'm doing a decent job of eating clean(ish) and not overeating in either portion size or frequency. I definitely have fewer cravings than I used to, which I appreciate.
Meditation: Yes! Twice.
Hydration: Yes!
Sleep: Ha. So, more anxiety dreams, alas, but I've tried to get to bed on time on work nights.
The week ahead: I start my Easter break after Wednesday's classes, and I am very much looking forward to sleeping more and having more time for exercise and cooking.
I'm sending you the best April energy I can muster for a season full of opportunities to feel good about ourselves!
