Hello!

I hope you've had a good week, for whatever value you give the word "good," and that you're feeling well and as content as possible.

If you're so inclined to share, please do let us know how your week has been, fitness-wise and otherwise. We're here to listen and cheerlead, not judge.

My Week in Review )

As always, I am sending you good vibes for the week ahead. Stay groovy!

This is a day late, but that's okay, right? I count it a win that I'm even gathering the energy to write it. Honestly, RL can stop being relentless any time now. *sighs*

Enough whining, though. How has the week been for you? Have you had success with your fitness goal(s)? Please do feel free to share in the comments. As always, I'll put my personal update in the cut.

My Week in Review )

May the week ahead bring you the time and energy you need to be good to your best self!

Once again, life has gotten away from me, but I'm still here and still hosting this little mutual support community.

As always, if you'd like, share how your fitness journey is/has been going for you. Feel free to share anything else, too. :-)

My Weeks in Review )

I hope the week ahead is a good one for you, full of little moments of unutterable joy.

I don't know what your life is like these days, but I say fervently that I hope it's nothing like mine. I don't mean to sound dire: The world's on fire, so my own little conflagration means very little. All I can do is keep beating at the flames and, if I can, help others put out their own. If this tiny community here helps at all, then I've done something.

So, with no further ado, please share, if you're so inclined, how you're doing these days. Your comments can be physical fitness related, but you're also welcome to just...share, you know? Whatever. We're here. I'm listening.

My Week in Review )

*hugs* and hope for our collective and individual fates, my friends.

How has this past week been for you? I hope it's been a good one for you in every way it can be.

If you're feeling so inclined, please share how your fitness journey is, has been, and/or will be. Whether you're recommitting to an effort, making a fresh start, or working on the same old plan, please know that we're a small but supportive and super-non-judgmental group hereabouts, and we're happy to have you along for the journey.

My Week in Review )

I'm sending you good, happy vibes for the week ahead, friends!

On 4/16, I was laid low by COVID, which my husband gave to me for spring break, and while I am no longer contagious, I'm still struggling to regain strength and stamina and have an annoying cough of the phlegmy throat variety. As a consequence of COVID and a host of other personal troubles, I not only fell off the fitness wagon but also just sort of disengaged from many activities, largely because I had to jealously guard what energy I've had.

I am slowly improving, as is my husband. We're both back to work, though that, too, is a significant struggle for each of us in different ways. And, of course, we're hoping that there are no long-term effects.

However, I did not want to abandon the Fitness Fellowship, so I will resume our regularly scheduled Saturday update posts with this one, which is a day late.

Please share how you've been the past three weeks, what your fitness highs and lows have been, and any plans you have moving into a new season.

My Weeks in Review )

May the week ahead be a good one for you all! Thank you for hanging in there with me! :-)

My apologies for this very tardy check-in post, but though I have technically been on spring break since Friday after work, I have been going like a very tired Energizer bunny for three straight days and would love to just sleep for the rest of my days off. Alas, it is not to be.

The good news is, I'm going on a mini-vacation later this week and there will be hiking in pretty locales and lots of birds and budding trees and a river to listen to, and it will be good.

So, as always, if you're so inclined, please do share how your fitness journey was this past week or so. Know that there is no judgement here.

My Week in Review )

Wishing you a week of good and easy choices that make you happy!

It's been a week, my friends, but here we are on the other side of it. YAY!

Please do share how your fitness journey has been lately--good, bad, indifferent, nonexistent. No judgement, only support here.

My Week in Review )

Sending you lots of positive vibes for the week ahead, friends!

We have survived three months in the year 2022 so far, and I think that's an accomplishment that calls for celebration, regardless of how those months have been for us. I hope you'll find some way to treat yourself today or soon in honor of having made it this far! :-)

Should you like, you are encouraged to share your fitness ups and downs with us here. You're also welcome to share anything else that you'd like. We're easy that way. ;-)

My Week in Review )

May the week ahead be a good one for you. May you find the strength you need when you most need it.
sylvanwitch: (Default)
This has been an even longer week than the last one, which seems physically impossible, as in a violation of the laws of physics. ;-)

I hope it's been treating you gently.

As usual, if you'd like to share your ups and downs, fitness-wise or otherwise, that's what this space is for.

My Week in Review )

Until next week, take care and be well!

Friends, March is the longest month in history, and last night/this morning we got a whole bunch of snow, and the winter blahs have taken hold fiercely, and no amount of D3 supplements is going to help. *sighs*

That said, exercise DOES help, so I've been focused on making sure I do it, even as I'm falling into some comfort-eating habits that make exercise *necessary* if I want to not have to buy new clothes. *sighs harder*

I hope you all are hanging in there, my friends. As usual in this space, please feel free to share the ups and downs of trying to be fit.

My Week in Review )

Sending you sunshine, energy, and time to rest and recharge.
sylvanwitch: (Default)
Friends, if you're making progress or holding the line or have even backed off your original fitness goals for 2022, please know that your response is the correct one, no matter what it has been. This is... *gestures at world*

Please don't make this fellowship another pressure point in your life, BUT, if you'd like or if it's something that helps you, please feel free to share how you're doing, fitness-wise or in any other way. We're here to listen and not to judge.

My Week in Review )

Be kind to yourself this week. Remember to breathe if you can. *hugs*
sylvanwitch: (Default)
My sincere apologies for posting a day late. I completely forgot until late last evening and just didn't have the energy to log in and post.

I hope you've all had a good week, though given current conditions *gestures at world*, it's totally understandable if you did not. Please do feel free to share whatever you'd like, whether that's related to fitness (however you define that word and to whatever you apply it) or otherwise. We're a small but fierce community, and we are here to listen.

My Week in Review )

May the week ahead be a good one for you. Hang in there, my friends.
sylvanwitch: (Default)
Hey, everybody! (I always hear that in Fozzie the Bear's voice.) How's it going today? I hope you're all hanging in there.

Here's the spot to share how your fitness journey has been and what you've got planned for the near and/or far-flung future. As always, we're here to listen and not judge. *offers preemptive hugs*

The Week in Review )

I hope the week ahead offers you moments of peace, relaxation, and some of the little joys that make life a wonder.
sylvanwitch: (Default)
How's it going, friends? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

I've been feeling very meh this week. I think it's the season and the general state of things. Whatever the case, I hope next week is a better one for me, and I hope that this week hasn't been a struggle for you.

As usual, please do share how you're doing, fitness-wise and/or otherwise. We're here to listen, commiserate, and share.

My Week in Review )

I'm wishing you whatever it is you need most for the week ahead, friends. Remember, you're not alone.
sylvanwitch: (Default)
Welcome, friends, to another check-in! I hope you've had a good week, but even if it's been rough, we're here to listen and not judge.

Please do share with us your ups and downs and let us know what you're thinking about for the week ahead.

My Week in Review )

Wishing you good things for the week to come!

Hello, Friends!

We're still having frigid weather here, with little respite in sight, but I'm actually happy for it because it feels a lot more like the winters I remember than in more recent years. I recognize that this doesn't mean climate change isn't happening--I know that it is. It just feels nice to have weather like I remember it.

Anyway, whatever your weather, I hope you're able to do the sorts of things for your health that you most enjoy and that you've had a good week. As usual, please share your ups and downs, as you will, and anything you're planning for the week ahead.

My Week in Review )

Sending you warm thoughts, regardless of your weather!
sylvanwitch: (Default)
We still have snow here, which means I could be snowshoeing, except it is frigid out there, so I'll have to hope for somewhat warmer temperatures. Also, I have handwritten midterm exam essays to grade, which is keeping me indoors as well. But all is otherwise well here, and I hope the same can be said for you.

If you're feeling it, please do let us know how your past week has been and what, if any, plans you have for the week ahead. Feel free to stop by any time, and don't ever feel obligated to comment if you're not feeling it. :-)

My Week in Review )

Sending you sunshine and smiles for the week to come!
sylvanwitch: (Default)
Winter has finally gotten its teeth into us here--it's 9F degrees, and we're expecting a big snowstorm tomorrow afternoon and into Monday. I just went out and bought a pair of snow boots. (My old ones became an impromptu litterbox for our problematic cat.) Maybe I'll get to go snowshoeing on Monday! It's one of my favorite winter activities, but in recent years, we haven't gotten the kind of sustained snow that makes for good sport. Here's hoping!

Do you have a favorite season-appropriate sport? (I'm keeping in mind that only part of the world is having winter right now.) If so, would you like to share?

As always, please do tell us how your week went and what plans you might have for the week ahead. Check in if you feel like it, but if you don't, we're here next time. :-)

My Week in Review )

Have a wonderful week ahead! Keep warm (or cool)!

sylvanwitch: (Default)
We've done it! We've made it a week into 2022!

How are you doing so far? What, if any, challenges have you experienced? Have you found anything giving you the strength you need to keep on keeping on? Share your ups and downs with us, if you're so inclined.

And, if you're late to the party, please join in now. Anyone can join at any time. No pressure!

My Week in Review )

May the week ahead bring you the strength you need to reach whatever your goals might be.
