A day late and three pounds heavier, I greet you!

How has your fitness journey been this past week, my friends? Please do share your ups and/or downs with us. As always, know that this is a judgement-free zone.

We went away for my birthday weekend, and I ate All the Things, but I have no regrets. Everything was delicious! And, we also got a TON of walking in, so there's that.

Now that I've gotten good news about my uterus and ovaries (no cancer, no surgery necessary), I'm having less difficulty sleeping (go figure). I've been sending up a LOT of prayerful gratitude, and spending time in nature this weekend (we hiked outdoors twice and also visited a National Wildlife Refuge--so cool!) has helped center me as well. I'm feeling extra mindful still thanks to the bone-crushing relief of a negative uterine biopsy.

I'm back to intermittent fasting today with no difficulty adjusting, thankfully, and am working on hydrating (lots of green tea and water) regularly, getting regular daily exercise, sleeping plenty, and meditating/praying/breathing.

So far, so good, my friends. This week, I hope to lose the majority of the three pounds I regained (just in time for Thanksgiving--lol!).

I'm wishing you a fabulous week ahead!

This sounds like the perfect way to celebrate and enjoy your special day, and good things happening! ♥♥♥ And how awesome this is also giving you back so much peace of mind - not surprisingly at all, of course! (Been there part of the way, as you know, and can fully relate to the feels) ***hugs***

(just in time for Thanksgiving--lol!)
*ggg*

I'm in week two of my bad head cold, although surprisingly fit, considering - but still neither getting in sufficient steps nor any exercise. I've adapted my diet accordingly to meet my metabolical needs, and thankfully that works out well enough, although I find it extra hard to be so miserable-because-sick and not have any comfort food at all. *sigh* Can't be helped, though, and at least my weight seems finally to be moving again downwards, and letting loose of those three kilos I aquired during this horrible summer.

I'm glad you had a good birthday. You deserve it! Good luck with getting back into a good sleep routine.

I made it to pilates today for the first time in 3 weeks. I didn't want to go and almost talked myself out of it because I still have a cold, but I forced myself, and because I was re-energised from exercising, I then cooked four different vegetable dishes for dinner. S looked pretty taken aback when he walked into the kitchen :) I hope this bodes well for the rest of the week.

Have a great week.

Having failed to comment here in a timely fashion for a while, and attempting to do better now, I greet you! : )

I think I know why I failed, it's because I was at the "summer place" with my parents. I just kind of fall into a different mode there and also when I'm with my parents...but however, I did do a fair amount of walking and working out there. I failed for a while at my sleep schedule though, because of a very page-turney book.

Goals for this week:
- Go running two or three times, depending on schedule
- Work out five times.
- Usual schedule with sleep: no work/environmental organization stuff after 9, no computer after 10, turn out light at 11.
