I have COVID, so this post is a day late and may be a little incoherent.

How has your week been, fitness-wise and otherwise? Please do share if you're feeling up to it.

Weight: Well, this morning, I was down more than 3 pounds from last week, but that's doubtless the product of my total lack of appetite.

Exercise: Yesterday was the first day since early July that I didn't do yoga. I went to work and came home sick midway through the morning. That was also a first for me. This morning, I tested positive for COVID. The fever is kicking my ass, so I have fewer than 1000 steps today. Ah, well. Prior to falling ill, I was doing my usual daily exercises, and on both Saturday and Sunday, we got in over three miles each day.

Eating plan: I'd been doing pretty well on this, too, and hope to someday have my appetite restored.

Hydration: I am drinking SO MANY FLUIDS!

Sleep: Ha! I had actually been doing SUPER well with getting to bed early and getting enough sleep. In hindsight, I think wanting to go to bed at 9:30 on a Friday night was a sign of things to come. Ah, well. I'm certainly getting plenty of rest right now, even if my sleep is fractured by the fever and cough.

The week ahead: I just want to get well. I'm going to rest and drink fluids and try not to push myself.

Wishing you happiness and health in the days to come.

My brother is finally getting over his (dude probably should have gone to the hospital)

GERD is sadly I have a congenital issue where the lower valve (the gastroesophageal) doesn't close with any strength so everything comes up unless I'm careful. There is a surgery but you can't vomit afterwards. I have gastric paresis too (slow moving stomach) so I am nauseous...often so the surgery is out. But when water is causing pain it's time to have a looksee
