I'm here on time for a change and happy to share your ups and downs with you.

How has your week been? Have you met your goals or fallen short? What's giving you the greatest challenge? What's making you happy routine-wise?

Please do share whatever you'd like with us. You know we won't judge.

Weight: Yesterday, I was down a bit from last week. This morning, I was waaaaay up. I'm not sure what that's about. I'll keep an eye on it, but I'm not worried (yet). So far, I've found that as long as I get a good bit of exercise, I can pretty much eat as I like within my window.

Exercise: I did yoga four times this week, got some other exercise each day (mostly walking), and got a LOT of walking in both Saturday and Sunday. I'm making it a point to get steps in at work when I've been sitting at my desk grading papers or creating materials for too long.

Eating plan: I've been cooking as and when I can, making sure to include lots of veggies and other healthy things. On the weekends, I do tend to snack more than during the regular week, but I also get a lot more walking in on the weekends, so the two factors seem to cancel each other out.

Sleep: I've been mostly okay with this? Some weird anxiety dreams, sort of generalized dread, but otherwise I've been doing well enough with sleep.

Hydration: Yes.

The week ahead: I make two huge pans of vegan stuffing, an apple-squash bake, mashed potatoes, two different kinds of plant-based "turkey," corn, and vegan crescent rolls (some of this is not from scratch, FYI) for the Thanksgiving. I spend Black Friday watching all three extended-version DVDs of LotR while eating stuffing, pie, etc. I am an unapologetic consumer of huge quantities of stuffing, which I only ever make once a year despite having an unholy love for it. So, I make no guarantees about my waistline for next week's check-in. I *do* get exercise during all five days of my holiday break (Wed.-Sun. of this week), though, and I do walk in front of the TV during the viewing on Friday, so... Here's hoping the damage isn't comprehensive. :-)

May the week ahead bring you lots to be grateful for!
