Fitness Fellowship 2025: Check-in Ten
Mar. 10th, 2025 04:27 pmHello out there! I hope you're all hanging in there and have had a great week of achieving your fitness goals.
As usual, please share as much or as little of your success (or otherwise) with us here. Remember, you're welcome to adjust your goals as you go along, too. And, as always, there is no judgement.
Weight: 207.4 as of yesterday morning, so back down to where I was before my winter break. (Today's weigh-in was higher, but I'm attributing that to time change/early morning, etc.)
Exercise: Yoga 4 days (goal is 4), Weights 5 days (goal is 3), Walking 7 days (goal is 7).
Eating plan: There has been snacking between meals, sweets after meals, and too many meals that aren't strictly healthy. I've been struggling with cooking; I just haven't felt like it. I know I need to be better, and I hope to re-establish better habits this week. That said, I didn't totally flame out, either; I did have good days and made decent choices even on less-than-good days. I do need to get away from comfort/emotional eating, though.
Meditation: YES! I meditated twice, on two different days.
Hydration: Mostly good.
Sleep: Ugh. I HATE Daylight Savings Time, for one thing. For another, I've been trying to bury myself in escapist reading, which leads to Bad Choices about Bedtimes. ;-)
The week ahead: Maintain my exercise regimen, eat better, sleep more, continue hydrating and meditating.
May the week ahead bring you the energy you need to have success, however you define that.
