Fitness Fellowship 2025: Check-in 26
Jun. 30th, 2025 01:11 pmHello, again! Welcome back to another week of checking in with one another about our fitness goals and progress therein or lack thereof.
As always, please share if you're able and/or willing. Please know that this little community is for you, so you're welcome to adjust, change, or drop a goal at any time. We're here to listen, not to judge.
Weight: 211.8, so down .6 from last week. I'm happy with this.
Exercise: It was a solid week. I did yoga four of four times pledged, strength training five of four times pledged, and walked every day (some days on the elliptical because of the heat).
Eating plan: I focused on clean eating--lots of fruits, veggies, beans and legumes, whole grains, and the like. I did eat a few processed items, but I strove to make healthier choices even there. I felt *so* much better eating clean, a fact I need to remember when I return to teaching in September and fall back into bad habits because I'm exhausted all the time.
Hydration: Yes!
Sleep: So much good sleep. I love summer break for this alone!
Meditation: Yes! I did guided meditations at least twice but also did some walking meditation while out for a stroll by myself one afternoon this past week. Very healing stuff!
The week ahead: I'm hoping to continue as I have been with the eating plan, exercise, etc.
I'm sending you all the good vibes for a great week ahead!

Date: Friday, 4 July 2025 07:59 pm (UTC)But I think it's finally calming down now and the final two weeks should be better. Also, I went to conference today that reminded me why teaching is (or at least should be) the best job in the world. Better to be stressed than bored and unfulfilled. And tomorrow S and I are going to a fermentation day. I just want to be inspired by good things.
