Fitness Fellowship 2025: Check-in 50
Dec. 15th, 2025 05:24 pmHello, Fellow Fitness Folks!
Weight: 197.0, down .4 from last week. I'll take it!
Exercise: Four yoga workouts out of four pledged; three strength-training sessions out of three pledged; walking or steps every day. I'm hedging that last one only because yesterday was a cleaning day, so I didn't get a lot of walking in, just a lot of exercise, if that makes sense.
Eating plan: I've been eating mostly clean, avoiding excesses, and allowing myself treats within reason, and that's been working well for me.
Hydration: Sort of? When it's cold at work (my room had no heat a couple of days last week), I don't like drinking water, but I often don't have time to make and drink my tea before it gets cold, so sometimes I can tell I'm dehydrated when I get home. Then, I make up for it by drinking way too much water.
Meditation: Yes, I did two different meditations this past week.
Sleep: Ugh. I've been bad about getting to bed before 11:00pm and about getting off-screen in time to avoid blue screen stuff keeping me awake. Can you tell I'm on break after Friday's half-day? I'm already getting into night owl mode, with the predictable result that I'm sleep-deprived. I'm such a jerk to myself sometimes! Lol!
The week ahead: More of the same only with better sleep habits, I hope.
Can you believe the end is so nigh? :-) We have only two more check-ins left in this year. I'm not sure where all the time went, but it's definitely behind us now.
As usual, please do share your fitness ups and downs of the past week, if you're so inclined. If you're not, that's okay too!

Re: so tired
Date: Monday, 29 December 2025 05:10 pm (UTC)Got a last-minute invitation to a friend's (she'd already suggested she couldn't host this year due to a variety of issues so it was a surprise) which involved SO MUCH food. I'm back home with a fridge stocked up on food (since I had planned to be home all break). And my sense of "must not waste food" is overriding my sense of "I don't need to eat that much". I'm promising myself that the new year will be a re-set.
Anyway, got home to your card in my mailbox. I adore that your footnotes have footnotes. 💙❄️💙❄️💙
