My friends, the weather rollercoaster is starting to seriously mess with me. It was 70 and sunny on Saturday morning, and by yesterday (Sunday) morning there was hail and then snow. It snowed again today, too. I just want the spring to stay for a little while before the sweltering heat moves in.

How has your week been, weather-wise, fitness-wise or otherwise? Please do share, if you're feeling so inclined.

Weight: 192.6, back to where I was the week before we went away. YAY! I was relieved to see that the weight was coming off fairly easily, which seems to confirm my suspicion that it was related to the way the sodium in Chinese food causes fluid retention. (Sorry if that's TMI!)

Exercise: Yoga 4/4; strength-training 3/3; walks every day. Despite the weather woes, we did get in a long mall-walk yesterday and then spent over a mile at Costco in a nearby city. (Our Costco is scheduled to open this summer.) Saturday, we did our 3-mile stroll to earn a digital badge (T. and I have the same fitness watch/app.) All last week, I made it a point to get in brisk walks during every free period, and I definitely racked up the steps that way, too.

Eating plan: I'm extra pleased with losing that weight because I wasn't especially locked in on eating light. I did eat healthily, for the most part, but I found myself hungrier than usual and craving more calories at dinner, in particular. I'm happy to find that despite eating more calories, I was able to lose the weight I'd gained, and I think that's largely because I was so active. Even so, I am moderating my intake this week to get back onto a better track.

Hydration: Yes!

Meditation: Once out of the twice I've pledged. I need to not wait until late in the week to meditate. I don't know what my block is, but I'll get back to it this week.

Sleep: Yes! I was particularly good about getting TO BED by 11pm (or earlier) rather than sort of getting ready to get to bed (a 5- to 10-minute process, usually) at 11pm. I even went to bed ON TIME on the weekend! Crazy! LoL!

The week ahead: Same old, same old.

May our week be the one we most need for where we are right now!
