I am on the road this weekend, which explains both the tardiness of this post and its necessary brevity.

Please let us know how you're doing in terms of your fitness goals or anything else you'd like to share.

Before we left for our long weekend trip, I was holding steady at last week's weight. There was less formal exercise this week because of trip prep in the evenings. There has been more eating (and not as strict fasting) this weekend because we're visiting my BFF, but the upside is that she's a walker like we are, so there has been MUCH walking. Today, after a brief lunch with said friend, we have an eight-hour drive home.

The plan for the rest of this week, today definitely not included, is to return to intermittent fasting, regular exercise, hydrating, sleep, and meditation/breathing.

Hoping the week ahead gives you the time and energy you need to meet your goals!

Hope you had a great weekend! How fabulous that your BFF is a walker too. It's nice to share things that are important to you with friends.

We went for a 2hr hike yesterday. It was so hot that we were sweating in t-shirts. It's not autumnal weather at all. I also went to Pilates on Tues but still haven't managed to get to the gym for a weights session. I try not to be so distracted by work, but it's hard, especially when there are evening commitments and I end up doing a 12hr day, which is what happened last week and I've got another day like that this week too. But at least I'm eating well and have reduced my drinking and am loving Pilates. Those things are now a consolidated part of my routine.

Hope you had fun with your BFF! : )

Last week's goals:
- No work emails after nine, no computer after ten, and ACTUALLY turn out the light at eleven.
Er. It is possible that I did not always turn it out at eleven.
- Go running three days, and go on walks two days.
Yes!
- Work out five times.
Also yes; this was a good week for exercise.

This week's goals:
- No work emails after nine, no computer after ten, and ACTUALLY turn out the light at eleven (let's see how it works this time...).
- Go running twice, and go on walks two days.
- Work out four times.

Slightly lower ambitions since I'm traveling on Saturday-Sunday.
