My apologies for the late-i-tude! I lost track of days/times because I'm in the liminal space of exam week, when my schedule is all over the place, and nothing makes any sense. ;-)

Please do share how your week has been in terms of your fitness goals (however you define them) and what your plans are for the six days ahead of us.

Weight: I'm down 1 pound from last week. Yay!

Exercise: Weights (one day of actual weights, at least one or two days of lifting and hauling in the garden); Intervals, check; Inclines, check; Every day, check!

Eating plan: There were Choices made, re: desserts over the weekend, but thankfully, I'm so much more active lately, thanks to gardening and getting outside for walks, etc., the exercise seems to counteract the ill effects of white almond raspberry cake. (SO GOOD! So NOT vegan! LoL!)

Meditation: I have definitely used boxing the breath and mantras. I find them soothing.

Sleep: I have been all over the place with sleep, in part because of the change in work schedule, in part because I'm having all sorts of weird anxiety dreams (though I'm not anxious about anything in particular, as far as I know), in part because I have been staying up later than I should reading ebooks when I should be switching to a hard copy of something before bedtime. The good news is that as of this coming Monday, I'm on summer break, so I can sleep however I see fit. Not the healthiest choice but definitely the way my nocturnal self works in the summer.

The plan: Same old, same old.

Thank you for sharing with me. Your being here definitely keeps me honest, my friends!

I had started gaining weight after my hysterectomy, about 5 pounds. I've now lost them again and three pounds more so I'll take it.

still need to get exercising again

Good luck with exams!

I didn't exercise at all Sat to Tues, so I made myself get on my exercise machine this morning (even though morning is the best time for other things, too; but afternoons are just too short atm). I've been eating a lot of cake and a little bit of chocolate/other sugary foods, and my brain is fuzzy as a result, so it's time to cut that out (again).

And I've been super bad at doing my physio exercises. I have an appointment tomorrow that's going to be more like a(n expensive) Catholic confessional. /o\

Woohoo! Congratulations on your freedom!

I have a terrible sweet tooth and so try to accommodate it within reason, to better or worse outcomes depending on my mood. ;-)

That's awesome if you can manage it! *encouraging pompoms*

I find that once I eat something sweet, my self-control goes screwy and the rest of the day is likely to be full of further indulgences and unproductivity. So I go through phases of No Sweet Things! and other phases of succumbing. I don't mind too much (I'm not watching my weight), but my brain -- especially my writing brain -- works better if I manage my sugar intake, alas. I probably sleep better, too.

Oh, congratulations on soon having your summer break! And also on the weight loss.

Last week I finished my moving and then rested--but I did also end up doing some exercise, which was good! Including some swimming, since I'm now by a lake. Weight is stable where I want it.

This week: I'm doing some exercising Monday-Wednesday, then on Thursday I'm leaving to go to Norway on vacation! I guess while there I want to generally keep up on food and sleep goals, but it seems impractical to demand exercise of myself, though hopefully I'll do some hiking.

I hope you have a great time in Vermont.

I had a week off last week. We've got another 6 weeks before the summer break, but at least my GCSE and A-level classes are now done with their end-of-year exams so I've got a lot more free time.

Yay for achievements! ♥

I still had lingering issues from the intolerance episode for over a week all in all, but picked up things again around last Wednesday. Sleep is a bit better, excercise even more so - went on a late-night walk all days but one last week and was on the treadmill on the off day, and managed to incorporate more regular movement throughout my desk hours: I'm now getting up and walking to the other end of the upper floor and back each time I pour myself a new cup of tea, which makes a difference. I'm usually getting in sufficient steps throughout the day just from taking care of people, furries and the house, but not when I'm very focused on writing. Since the latter happened in a very satisfying manner lately the steps went quite down as a consequence, but the "teapot elsewhere" took care of that. I also had some light and some not so light gardening to do, so more exercise was to be had. Diet plan went a better, too, so I'm satisfied overall.
