Whew! We're almost there! Time has moved so strangely for me this year. It doesn't feel like any time at all has passed, yet here we are with only a handful of days left.

I'll save the retrospective questions for next week. For now, as usual, please do share how your week has gone, fitness-wise and/or otherwise. We're here to listen, cheerlead, and not judge. :-)

Weight: 194.6, which is 2.4 pounds down from last week and 17.8 pounds total from 1 September.

Exercise: I strength-trained four times out of three pledged, yoga four times out of four pledged, and walked every day except for the ones when I was cleaning, in which case, I got exercise but not walking.

Eating plan: I'm not starving myself, which is a good thing. (I had a problematic relationship with food in middle school, and for my whole life, when I diet, I flirt with getting obsessive about what I eat, how much I eat, when I eat, etc.) I'm eating mostly whole foods, with some processed stuff too, but healthier options. I'm a serious label-reader, so I watch what goes into my body where that's concerned. I do eat dessert almost every day, but I think I'm just much more conscientious about portion sizes and snacking between meals and all that stuff.

Meditation: Yes.

Hydration: So. Much. Water.

Sleep: Ha! So, I'm on my winter break at the moment, and the first two nights, I was up until 2:00am because I discovered a videogame that I *adore*. (It's Stardew Valley, in case you were wondering. I am a decade late to the party, and I don't care.) Last night, I made myself go to bed at 1:00am. Tonight, I'm going to walk that back again. I cannot go full night-owl on my two-week break, or my first two weeks back at school will be a nightmare, pun intended.

The week ahead: I'm making all the carbs for Xmas dinner. It's just T. and me, and we LOVE pasta, but I haven't been eating or making it lately, so I said we'd have pasta, sauce, garlic bread, and salad for the evening meal. We're visiting friends for the afternoon on Christmas Day, having coffee and pie, and I also have a vegan apple-cranberry pie for Xmas dinner dessert. So, there's a diet Armageddon. But, we were originally slated to travel after Xmas day, and we've had to cancel because both our cat-sitter and backup cat-sitter fell through, and you know what? I'm okay with that. I'm *so* tired. So, we're going to do day trips and staycation stuff, and that's awesome. I'm expecting there will be some eating, as well, but also lots of walking too. It's a trade-off. My goal for the holiday week is to maintain my current weight, but if I gain a bit back, I'm okay with that too.

I hope the holidays have been going and/or do go easy on you, friends!
