Acceptance Achieved!

The very last thing I submitted in 2022, a 100-word horror drabble, was accepted today, not for the magazine I'd originally submitted it for but for publication on the publisher, Black Hare Press' Patreon, and inclusion in their annual anthology that collects all of those Patreon drabbles and stories.

I'll post a link to my drabble when it's published on Patreon.

The pre-order link for YEAR FIVE: Dark Moments and Patreons is here.  It's not out until December, since it collects the whole year, so I'll share it again later on, but I'm excited about it!

I'm taking this as a good sign for the year to come.

The payment is token, but the exposure, in this case, is much appreciated. And it absolutely feels like a victory after so many, many rejections last year. Like, maybe I don't totally suck? LoL!

trust me I got it. The only 2 acceptances last year was from a friend's anthologies (and even he's not a guarantee. I get into about every other flash fic anthology)
