Welcome to another week! We've made it almost halfway through February, which is for me always the longest month despite it being technically the shortest.

I hope the week has been a good one for you. As usual, please let us know how you're doing fitness-wise and/or otherwise. Did you make your goals for the week? Did you have some challenges? Please share if you're so inclined.

I gained about a pound more this week, but that was all since Friday. It's T's birthday weekend, so we've been eating takeout and sweet treats. I'll adjust tomorrow. Otherwise, I'd been pretty good this past week in terms of eating healthily and avoiding too many sweet treats.

I have also been pretty good about exercise, and the weather has moderated enough--with actual sunshine some days--that I was able to get out for three walks in nature instead of just hall-walking at work or using the recumbent bike. Yay! :-) On one of those walks in the woods, I prayed and meditated, so that counts for my weekly meditation goal as well. A two-fer, if you will.

I've been good about hydrating and getting to bed at a reasonable hour too, though getting to *sleep* is still a challenge some nights. I happen to have a three-day weekend, too, which means getting extra sleep. I can't even tell you how different I feel getting enough sleep for a few days in a row. It's staggering the difference!

Overall, while I'm not thrilled by the lack of weight loss, I am feeling like I'm doing well otherwise, and if I can get back on track tomorrow, I'll be fine for my weigh-in next week.

Have a good week ahead, my friends, and remember that we'll be here again next week. :-)

Thanks. And yes we were not designed well. We have a joke in one of my groups of friends about how our design never should have been signed off on by the engineers because they put the breathing hole by the swallowing hole and consuming life sustaining water and food shouldn’t try and kill you.
