Friends, I hope there's a good week behind you and an even better one ahead!

As usual, please do share your fitness ups and downs with us here. We're here to commiserate, support, and not judge you. :-)

I'm down a bit from last week, maybe a pound? I've certainly been getting my exercise, particularly on work days, and I'm doing well with the intermittent fasting too. Hydration is okay--I have to get into a new bathroom routine, since my teaching schedule and classroom are both different this year. I have farther to go to a bathroom.

I've been good about getting to bed on time, though I can't always make myself go to sleep right away, and I've also practiced some mindfulness and breathing techniques.

My food choices have mostly been good. All around, it was a better week than I'd expected in terms of my own willpower and energy. Here's to another good week ahead for me!

Sending you all the good vibes I can spare!

Go you, I hope you can keep up the good habits! \o/

Last week's goals:
- No work emails after nine, no computer after ten, and turn out the light at eleven.
- Go running on two days.
- Work out on six days, and do some workouts other than my usual one.

I did well with the email/computer/bedtime limits, and am sleeping well! I'm really enjoying the extra time for reading between ten and eleven that the computer limit is giving me.

However, I did not go running--my foot was hurting for about half the week. Luckily it disappeared as mysteriously as it had come, and now I'm fine. But in the weekend I went to my parents' place to help my dad with the dogs (mom was travelling, and my dad has broken his hand), and I just always do less well with running/working out while there. In the end I only worked out on two days, BUT otoh on those days I did do workouts other than my usual one, and longer ones, too.

Next week's goals:
- No work emails after nine, no computer after ten, and turn out the light at eleven.
- Go hiking two days.
- Go running on one day (possibly two).
- Work out on four days, and do workouts other than my usual one.
(The amount of workouts/runs will be affected by the possibility of going sailing with my parents on the weekend.)
