Fitness Fellowship 2023: Week 42 Check-in
Oct. 15th, 2023 05:43 pmHow's it going, friends? Did you have a good, middlin', or poor week for fitness (or otherwise)?
Please share with us here how your week has gone, if you are so inclined. We'll listen and never judge.
Since starting intermittent fasting, I've lost 7.6 pounds. I'm .4 pounds away from where I was when this whole year started. I'm happy with the pace at which I'm losing weight, I feel like I've turned a corner in my attitude toward food, and I'm doing alright.
Exercise has been pretty good, though I do tend to get more and more sustained bouts of it on the weekends than during the week. Sleep has been better, though, mostly because I've started going to bed earlier, and that means I have more energy during the day. The days themselves have been stressful, however, which takes a lot out of me. Eating has not been a challenge at all; I don't seem to have any trouble sticking to my eating window, and I often even forego dessert despite having both the time and spare calories for it.
Meditation/breathing has been sporadic but there, and I do always get something out of it when I take a few minutes to breathe and center myself.
For the week ahead, I plan to continue the usual routines. :-)
May the week ahead bring you the kind of conditions you find most conducive to contentment. :-)

Date: Tuesday, 17 October 2023 03:44 pm (UTC)Finally stepped on the scales. Up two pounds since last weigh-in. (Not a surprise and i half expected worse.)
I need to find better ways to react to stress, but I keep lapsing into that hopeless mindset where I just don't care about anything, but maybe binge eating comfort food will make me feel better... except it doesn't and now I'm still sad but also guilty and annoyed with myself.
