By now, I'm sure you know the drill: Please report any progress and/or frustrations you've experienced during the past week in your efforts to achieve your fitness goals.
Please know that you are never judged in this space. We're here to commiserate and to offer advice only when solicited.
I lost 1.8 pounds this week, down to 209.2, which is more than four pounds lower than the year's start and more than 11 pounds lighter than my highest weight this year. The intermittent fasting is definitely working; I find that I don't have cravings after 7:00pm nor hunger pangs in the morning before I have my first light meal at around 10:00am.
I'm getting as much exercise as I can manage, though at the moment I've caught a cold (I've tested three times for COVID and am in full-blown illness symptoms now, and I don't think I have it again, thankfully), so I'm a little less active than I'd like. Still, housecleaning doesn't do itself, and I have a friend from out of town visiting on Halloween evening, so I'm resting in between bouts of cleaning all the things.
I have tried some breathing and have definitely been praying a lot more this week. I've been hydrating as best I'm able, drinking more green tea than usual too. My sleep hasn't been great because of my anxiety over the potential hysterectomy, but I'm doing my best to get as much sleep as I'm able. (I wish I could sleep right now because I am exhausted!)
My plan for the week ahead is to continue all of my usual fitness goals as best I'm able, health and friend-visits and ultrasound appointments depending.
I'm sending you warm, happy energy for the week ahead, my friends!

Date: Sunday, 5 November 2023 04:04 pm (UTC)Thank you for the good wishes, re: my health. I'm over the worst of it, I think, and now just have a lingering throat-tickle/dry cough to contend with. Urgh!
