Hey, Friends: Sorry for the late-i-tude again. I promise I'm not getting tired of posting these check-ins; I'm just busy and scatterbrained and tired.

How was the past week for you all? I hope it was good and, if not, that it was at least tolerable. :-)

Please do share, if you're up to/for it.

Last week, I had that upward blip, and that has mostly resolved itself this week. I weighed in at 205 on Saturday morning and am only a little up from that this morning. I'm continuing with the intermittent fasting, daily exercise, attention to hydration, and trying to get enough sleep.

I have my holiday break starting tomorrow afternoon, and I can hardly wait to just have time to sleep. Of course, there are food challenges in the coming days, but I'm planning to stick to my eating window and moderating my food choices (i.e. sweets), so hopefully, things will go smoothly.

Whatever you believe, however you celebrate or not in the next week, may you find something that delights you and cling to it.

Hope you're enjoying the break. I'm on break too. Yay for getting 8 or 9 hrs sleep every night! I've done a lot of school prep and planning this week for January because I won't have any time next week. We've got so many people coming and going, starting from this weekend and throughout next week. We're hosting various people (my cousins, our closest friends, and a very sweet dog that my cat absolutely hates) over Christmas and New Year. How this has happened I'm not entirely sure and god knows where all of them are going to sleep because our cottage is so little. There are both vegetarians and meat eaters to cater for, but luckily all of them cook and are bringing lots of food and wine with them. They're all laid-back, easy-going people who I love so it's going to be festive and communal, which I enjoy (mostly), but poor S is a bit of a hermit and is vaguely dreading the entire experience.

I've decided to put fasting and exercise on hiatus until the new year. There will be a lot of walking and the food will be good and homemade, but beyond that I'm just going to have a good time.
