*hugs* I'm sorry. My sadness has been double-edged, because season 2 broke my heart in a bad way and I'm both mourning the show being cancelled and still mourning that the show ultimately wasn't what I wanted/needed it to be. But I really was hoping, for the fans who still loved it, and for the actors and writers who wanted to come back, that they would have their shot with season 3.
I understand where you're coming from and appreciate your graciousness regarding its cancellation. I'm sorry it broke your heart in S2 and didn't seem to offer a possibility of redemption, even had there been a third season. :-( *hugs*
At the end of the day, it could only make me feel that hurt because I had loved and responded to it so much, and so I completely understand how those who were excited for a third season must feel. I'm crossing my fingers for the long shot that another company picks it up, and I'm hoping that even if that doesn't happen, we can all be sad together for a little while and then do what fandom does best in terms of carrying on and making new things to share our love.
If you ever want a positivity-only ear to talk about what you loved about the show or what you were hoping to see in season 3, I'm very much here for that.
