Greetings, fellow travelers on this fitness journey!

How'd your week go? Did you have challenges? Personal bests? Please do share your progress (or lack thereof--no judgement) with us here.



Weight: 202.8, up .6 from last week, which is not surprising, given the way my weight was trending all week. I think I'm eating a bit more than usual but still well within the calorie limit and also within my given window for eating, so I'm not sure what's going on there. Weight is a mystery sometimes!

Exercise: Every day, yes. Strength training, yes (I'm including hauling around bags of soil here). Intervals, yes. Inclines, yes.

Eating plan: Only one popcorn incident, I think, and otherwise fine. I think it might be the non-dairy ice cream? I think I need to reduce serving size, even though I have more than enough of a calorie surplus to cover it. I have a weakness for the stuff, and giving it up would be counter-productive, so I do think I just need to get out the measuring cup again.

Meditation/breathing: Yes? Probably? I can't recall a specific instance, but it has become something of a habit, so I think I probably have done some breathing exercise?

Sleep: Yes! Until last night. T. had a v. late shift, and I couldn't fall asleep until he was home and then not for quite a bit after that. *sighs*

Hydration: I worked outside in the sun for most of yesterday afternoon and was DEFINITELY dehydrated but didn't stop to drink water, so that's on me. Headachy and weird-headed for a lot of last evening. You'd think I'd have learned this lesson by now, but no....

The week ahead: My goals are the same, and this time I plan to pay stricter attention to my hydration goal in particular.

Gah, I'm in the middle of moving! Packing has been fine though, it's not wearing me out too much physically. I got a massage mid-week which was glorious, and hopefully fixed much of the issue with my shoulder. Trying to get in some walks and breaks and small workouts between moving stuff, work stuff, life admin stuff, etc.
